More About The Song

1.What's the inspiration behind "Poison"?

"‘poison’ wasn’t particularly inspired by anything! It took elements of RnB and blended sounds in a unique way; which is what I try to accomplish with every release. It was my take on a radio friendly pop song with a bit of a somber undertone."

2.What does "poison" symbolise as a song?

"On the surface, the song doesn’t have meaning; but something that was in the back of my mind while writing was creating a nostalgic sound that gave off vibes of dreams I’ve had in the past that may feel nostalgic. The verse, with the distortion creates a sound reminiscent of a nostalgic, distant dream. Of course this is up for interpretation by the listener!"

3.What motivates you to create?

"My motivation to create is just that. I love to create and share my music. I get to watch my music grow each time I release. Each release marks a milestone or new era for my sound; it’s a very satisfying thing to watch."
